A Little Bit About Emily

Emily Dixon was born and raised in the small town of King's Lynn, Norfolk. A trained gymnast from the age of four, she has competed at both regional and national levels with tumbling and at international level in the field of Sports Acrobatics. During her fifteen years of training Emily also qualified as a gymnastics coach and has a vast amount of teaching experience. In her formative years she also developed a passion for the world of theatre, the pursuit of which, has taken her around the world as a performer.

The desire to amalgamate her two passions in life (as well as the overwhelming need to leave
King's Lynn!)  led Emily to move on to bigger better things in the form of circus school in London
.

In 2005 Emily began the three year degree course at
The Circus Space in which she specialised in Doubles Trapeze with good friend Amber. With Doubles being their main focus, the pair have numerous static performance pieces and have recently developed a swinging act.

As well as trapeze, Emily has concentrated on refining her style of acrobatics and is in the process merging it with strong theatrical and movement elements to create a brand new solo act.
Emily's skills also include handstands, theatre, movement and Rubik's Cube.
